BACKGROUND
Vessels of hope was started back in 2015 by a group of friends driven by the desire to touch a child’s heart. We pulled our resources together and visited different children homes, shared meals with them and interacted with them through fun activities and mentorship. Since then our membership has increased through friends inviting friends and through our social media following (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp).
Having visited several children homes in Nairobi region especially in slum areas, we have realised that this homes are in dire need of food, clothes and reading materials among other basic needs. Through the generous donations from VOH members, we have been able to meet this need on a short term basis, which we hope to meet on a long term basis in the near future.

To be a model CBO in Kenya that extend a hand of compassion to the needy, vulnerable and the less fortunate
MISSION
To pursue an enabling environment for the needy children to share and participate in all aspects geared towards improving the living standards.
